00-who-i-am

I have been designing since I was a kid.

My father is a designer, so design has been part of my life for as long as I can remember. It never stopped, not while I studied Mechanical Engineering, and not during three years racing as a professional cyclist in Europe with Eolo-Kometa (Alberto Contador's team) and Radio Popular-Boavista. Racing taught me to read a system, look for the marginal gain and execute under pressure, and I still use all three every day. Two years ago I moved to the US to study UX Design at SCAD. Since then I have worked on real projects for clients, from SEO and CRO to AI-powered products that I design and build myself.

Pro cycling taught me empathy and discipline.

Racing on a pro team left me two things that transfer straight into product work: the empathy to understand what people actually need, and the discipline to keep executing when it gets hard.
In the age of AI, the edge is learning speed: I iterate faster than I get attached.

I design to help people and earn their loyalty, and I define up front how success is measured: conversion, task completion, new users, retention. Every design decision is one I can explain in business terms.
